And figures weren’t that great elsewhere; roughly half of the dentists in Greece were women, about one-third in France, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway, and almost four-fifths in Russia, Finland, Latvia, and Lithuania.
Now, those entering dental school classes are approaching 50% males and 50% females and a new perspective on caring for your teeth has been developed by Irish Dentist Dr. Lisa and Dr. Vanessa Creaven! I’ve heard about their treatment for a while so was dying to get to know the professionals behind the brand and hear more about their journey into dentistry and plans for this year!

What year did the business start? 2016
Who is your target market and why are they so important to reach?
I suppose initially our target market was 20-40 beauty conscious females but really that has changed and expanded rapidly. Everyone from young to old male and female love our products and have commented on how they have changed the way they feel about themselves and their smile. We offer a safe whitening treatment so they have that reassurance that they can get the results they want without having to worry about any negative consequences.
What has drawn you to expand into Dubai?
We had received so many online orders shipping to Dubai that really it was a no brainer for us. The Dubai community is so welcoming and there is also a huge amount of Irish people settled here too, so that support is amazing. The people of Dubai are very fashion forward and the beauty industry is huge here so really it was a combination of those things.
Why is a bright white smile so important?
I think the biggest thing for us is the confidence people have when they feel confident enough to show their smile to the world. With most of our customer feedback confidence is the biggest change they see! A smile is one of the first things a notice so to have that confidence is important- never fully dressed without a smile!
Who do you admire or look up to in business?
We have a huge admiration for anyone in business who has set up or established something this takes a huge amount of courage resilience and stamina. It isn’t easy to decide to start your own business and to be honest we are lucky we have each other! There are tough times and frustrating times but seeing your business establish itself is the most rewarding thing
What is your one piece of advice to those looking to start a business in your same industry?
Go for it! It is important to just take that leap of fate but also to do your homework! Don’t bring anything to the market that you aren’t 100% passionate about. It takes long hours and hard work and that’s made easier when you love what you do!
What is a quote you live by?
Whether you think you can or think you can’t you’re right! We are big believers of positive thinking and the idea that if you put your mind to it you can achieve anything! I think that attitude is why we have been so successful
What celebrity smile do you love?
I would say Julia Roberts has probably one of the most beautiful smiles naturally and this comes down to proportion. As cosmetic dentists, we not only examine the position of the teeth but also their shape size and symmetry. Julia Roberts has ideal proportions while all in keeping with her own natural beauty. A beautiful smile needs to take into account the persons face and personality and always unique to them.
What are your handbag essentials for a big week at work?

A lipstick is essential, no matter how you are feeling a lipstick can brighten your smile! I think your favorite perfume is a must also- there is something about spraying my favorite scent that makes me feel like I can take on the world!
We have just launched in the UAE and are hoping to continue to expand our business. We launched in 4 new countries in 2017 so we definitely want to keep going! We also have some exciting new products to add to our range!
